Using Our Voices

On the 5th May, our NEXUS 325 debaters took to the stand! With the motion of “Should social media be banned?”, students from Oasis Academy: Hadley and Lea Valley Academy went head to head.

Both the Spoken Word Award and the Debate Winners Award went to Oasis Academy: Hadley, who performed exceptionally throughout the evening. However, if rebuttals were included, Lea Valley Academy would have won the second round. Congratulations to both schools!
