Who are we?
We are a service for families and we were founded to work with families where there is child to parent abuse as well as support families recovering from domestic abuse. As a family support service, we use solution-focused therapy to target child to parent abuse.
What do we aim to do?
We aim to support families with children from the ages 6 - 18 where there is child to parent abuse. Our main aim is to prevent children/young people from potentially becoming adult victims of domestic abuse or perpetrators.
How do we work?
We use solution focused practices to help families move towards their desired outcomes and the support can go on for as long as the family find it useful. We are a child to parent abuse service as well as a family support service. We also train staff members in solution focused therapy. We also work with the Perpetrators Service to deliver our service.
