Who are we?
THE PLACE OF DREAMS GLOBAL is a Community Interest Company that designs, develops and delivers revolutionary products, programmes and relevant projects that centre around personal development and empowerment for young people and influential adults.
What do we aim to do ?
Our aim is to provide practical solutions and safe places where young people and influential adults can be inspired, empowered and transformed.
Our mission includes engaging and equipping young people enabling them to live a life beyond their wildest dreams.
Our motto encapsulates the heart of our mission...DREAMING IS BELIEVING.
How do we work?
We design and deliver bespoke programmes and projects for our clients, in-house or off-site, around specific challenges and concerns they may be facing and we also sign post clients to our partners who are able to assist in areas that may not be our speciality.
All of our programmes can be altered to suit the needs of our clients. Subjects matters included in each programme can be tailored to fit assemblies, PSHE lessons and even teacher training days.
The P.E.A.R.L.S Project
The P.E.A.R.L.S Project is an inspirational, empowerment programme carefully and specifically designed to transform the lives of teenage girls. An innovative personal development programme designed over 6-12 sessions, the P.E.A.R.L.S Project addresses topics that identify, inspire and inform the choices, challenges and changes that teenage girls face. The project is aimed at teenage girls between the ages of 13 - 17.
The overall purpose of The P.E.A.R.L.S Project is threefold, to help teenage girls:
> Realise their value and maximize their potential.
> Restore their confidence and raise their self esteem.
> Reach their goals and follow their dreams.
The PK Programmes (Princes and Kings)
The PK Programme is an informative, empowerment programme carefully and specifically designed to challenge and change the lives of teenage boys. The PK Programme which is designed over 7-14 sessions covers topics that engage, empower and equip teenage boys, helping them to make informed choices, navigate through challenges and adjust to changes that they may face. The project is aimed at teenage boys between the ages of 13 - 17.
The PK Programme is designed to help teenage boys by:
> Supporting them in the discovery and development of their natural gifts and talents.
> Strengthening their confidence and building their self esteem.
> Strategically equipping them with tools and techniques that will enable them to navigate through challenges and adjust to change.
