Reclaiming Jubilee Park for the community

Who are we?

We are a regeneration project and we want to return Jubilee Park to Enfield’s community. Jubilee Park, over the past few years, has had several incidents, including high-profile violent crimes. Within the park is the Henry Barrass Stadium, a historically rich expanse now known to be an area for drug dealing and criminal activity – and this must change.

What do we aim to do?

We aim to restore Edmonton’s heritage by reinstating the running track, renovating the stand and modernising surrounding areas to promote positive community use. By encouraging the use of these facilities, the park will have increased safety and the perception of Jubilee Park will improve.

How do we work?

We are currently lobbying to reinstate the running track and renovating the park. As we are in the early stages of this project, we are presently applying for funds and contacting local leaders to get on board and involved so that we can create a safer Enfield.
